Having a problem getting the right woman to notice you?  Not even sure who the right woman is?  Then you need to call The Cyrano Agency, where the friendly and helpful staff will insinuate themselves into situations to help awkward and unromantic types make that special connection.  Unfortunately for slick, effortless boss Byeong-hoon (Tae-woong Eom), his latest client is falling an old flame of Byeong-hoon’s, setting in motion an awkward series of events where true love must override the success of the business.

CYRANO AGENCY is a sweetly-romantic and very funny twist on the Edmund Rostand play, done with the effective style and polish that South Korean filmmakers seem able to apply to any film these days.  It helps to have Director Kim at the helm; his YMCA BASEBALL TEAM was an audience favorite at AFFD 2003, and he also wrote the screenplay for Chan-wook Park’s JOINT SECURITY AREA.
